Tempest Broadcast System retains OBS scene, source, plugin, encoder, recording, and streaming compatibility while presenting a separate Tempest workspace with its own configuration root.
It can run beside a standard OBS Studio installation without sharing profiles, scene collections, logs, crash reports, or plugin-manager settings.
Production tools live beside the output.
Command and Engineering workspaces bring scene control, source operations, media controls, stream-safety controls, assets, reactive overlays, audio response, and sequence direction into the broadcast surface.

The optional Studio Integration uses an authenticated localhost connection to receive resolved workflow commands and publish output health. Broadcast still owns scenes, sources, stream credentials, recording, and output state.
Version 0.20.5 is a public-preview baseline and remains marked as prerelease while fresh-install, capture-hardware, real-stream, and upgrade testing continues.
